Nordstrom.com is bringing some goods today

So, I did my daily log on to Nordstrom.com and found some great little treasures. Not only are they having a small shoe sale, where you can get pairs for 40% off, but they also added some new L.A.M.B.

First off, I came across this cute little ring by Marc by Marc Jacobs. It comes in three colors but this green is my favorite. It is on sale right now for just under $40. What a good deal for something so unique and different.

Next up, this L.A.M.B. Old School Jacket. Cute. I love the lamb icon all over the place. I also love the detail of the zipper pull. It’s not just a regular ol’ boring pull.

Last but not least on my list: The introduction of the yellow Camden Bootie. YUMMY! I LOVE IT. These are such a great addition to a neutral colored outfit.

There are also some new sweaters added by L.A.M.B. so take a gander while you are googling over these items.

Polyvore.com has sucked me in

I have become addicted to Polyvore.com where you can create outfits and such and show them off to others. It can suck you in for hours as you get to pretend you are a stylist. Head over to the site to try it out yourself.

Hard Candy goes Bye-Bye

Sadness. Let’s begin 13 years ago.

When I was the ripe old age of 13 I would walk myself to Urban Outfitters in the Gold Coast of Chicago every single day and would try on every shade of Hard Candy nail polish for hours deciding which one to buy. Then I would run home to throw the polish on my nails and shove that ring that came with it on my finger, while wearing a matching outfit. I think I collected about 10 bottles of polish. They were 12 bones a pop and for a 13 year old, $120 was alot to spend on your nails. But, it was the summer of Clueless and I was brainwashed.

With that story of dedication and love, I bring you the news that Hard Candy is retiring. They will get rid of everything and just stick to selling gift sets. So, if you want to relive the mid-nineties then go here and buy some polish as low as $1.75! Get those eye shadow quartets also, they are great colors. I used to have one of blues and greens (gross) but I wore the heck out of them!

The website also has vegan products, for all those animal lovers out there.

Have a slumber party, throw on Hard Candy make up and watch Clueless on TBS.

…….Lookin out a dirty old window, outside the cars in the city go RUSHING by.

Kirsten Dunst and Jane Birkin for LUTZ & PATMOS

Have you heard of LUTZ & PATMOS? If not then visit their site today and feast your eyes on some wonderful sweater pieces for fall. They not only have collaborations but also bring on guest designers for each season. This fall has Kirsten Dunst with her OMI & OPI Sweater. Now, get ready to sell your handbag collection because they are going for $395 and $525. Jane Birkin will be the next celeb to design a piece for the company. If her item is as glorious as the bag named after her then we are all in trouble.

While you are on the site check out the Mitered Cardigan that I have deeply fallen for.

Benjamin Bixby.

If I were a man, there would be no doubt about how I would purchase every piece from Andre Benjamin’s up coming clothing line Benjamin Bixby. He and Fonzworth Bently are probably the only two male celebrities out there that can wear what they do and get away with it. They take menswear from the 1930’s and rock it’s socks off. This picture gives you an idea of what is in store. Think Ralph Lauren.

Benjamin Bixby, of which Andre says was inspired by football players of the 30’s, is set to hit stores this fall with around 70 pieces for guys to pick from. As for prices, they seem to be realistic but not too cheap. Think a L.A.M.B. pricetag with maybe a 20% dicount.

I can’t wait to see the whole line. I really hope it does well, and I’m sure it will as it is highly anticipated by his fans.
